Our hotel features a busy restaurant, conference facilities, and a thriving wedding and events venue. With a strong reputation for quality, creativity, and warm hospitality, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food and memorable guest experiences.
The Role
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to lead and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring consistently high standards across:
À la carte restaurant service
Conference and corporate catering
Weddings and private events
Afternoon teas and seasonal menusYou will support menu development, manage food ordering and stock control, maintain strict food safety standards, and help drive innovation and consistency across all services.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
Background in fresh food, high-volume events, and quality restaurant service
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP compliance
Calm under pressure with a proactive, hands-on approach
Experience within a hotel or wedding venue environment would be advantageous
