Head chef required for a Gastro pub in the Newmarket area. This is a fresh foodpub, with locally source produce, thisis a team of 3 in the kitchen, this therefore is a hands on role. As a head chef you will manage the team, all the chefs only do straight shifts and they finish at 6pm on a sunday!. Head chef £38-40k, must drive due to the location.
The role
As a head chef you will be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen. it is a team of 3 in the kitchen team with only 2 on at once, it therefore is a very hands on role in the kitchen. You will do prep, cook in service and coordinate the pass. This role includes all the standard head chef duties.
Experience
We are looking for a head chef from a fresh food background. You will have good knife skills and a passion for a gastro pub style menu. They do themed menu nights as well from time to time, so you will need to be able to create these
