We are seeking a talented and experienced Events Head Chef to lead an exciting hospitality and events operation in the heart of Central London for a leading contract catering company.

This senior position will involve overseeing multiple food outlets, including high-profile events catering and a stylish café with a small retail offering. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing diverse kitchen operations and large teams, ensuring excellence in food quality, service, and overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all kitchen operations for events and café/retail outlets.

Motivate, develop, and guide a team of chefs to deliver outstanding service across multiple event styles.

Plan and execute seasonal menus, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and creativity.

Maintain full responsibility for food safety, health & safety compliance, and kitchen standards.

Control food costs, manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships.

Collaborate with senior management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and successful event execution.

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef, preferably in events and hospitality within a multi-outlet or contract catering environment.

Strong expertise in high-volume, high-profile events catering.

Experienced in leading large kitchen teams with the ability to inspire and develop talent.

Strong organisational, financial, and commercial acumen.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
