Chef Manager – Education Contract

Salary: £42,000 | 42 Weeks (Term Time Only)

We are recruiting an experienced Chef Manager to lead a large, high-volume, multi-outlet education catering operation.

The Site:

* Main Restaurant

* Sixth Form

* Shack

* 2 Pods

* 2 Primary School delivery sites

* Team: 1 Chef, 1 Customer Service, 20 General Assistants

This is a complex, fast-paced site with multiple service points and a busy delivery operation.

The Role:

* Lead and manage a large catering team

* Oversee high-volume food production and service

* Manage multiple outlets and off-site deliveries

* Control ordering, stock, food costs and waste

* Ensure full compliance with food safety and H&S

* Drive standards, performance and customer satisfaction

* Rota planning, training and team development

The Person:

* Proven experience as a Chef Manager or Senior Chef in high-volume catering

* Strong, hands-on leader with excellent people management skills

* Highly organised and confident running complex operations

* Experienced in managing busy services and logistics
